The information provided is for general informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as a basis for making any financial decisions. You should consult with qualified professionals before making any financial decisions.

2. Not a Lender or Financial Institution

Aetherum, Inc. is a technology company, not a financial institution. Aetherum does not:

  • Make lending decisions
  • Hold, custody, or transmit consumer funds
  • Originate, fund, or service loans
  • Operate as a bank, credit union, or money services business
  • Act as a registered investment advisor (RIA)

All lending decisions are made solely by the credit union or institutional partner using the Aetherum platform. Aetherum provides the technology infrastructure; the Institution provides the financial services.

3. Not Legal Advice

Nothing on this website or within the Aetherum platform constitutes legal advice. Information regarding regulatory frameworks, compliance requirements, and legal structures is provided for informational purposes only. Institutions should consult qualified legal counsel for guidance on compliance matters.

4. DACS Disclaimer

Important: The Dynamic Asset Collateralization Score (DACS) is a proprietary risk assessment model developed by Aetherum. It is not a credit score and does not constitute a consumer report under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA).

The DACS model evaluates cryptocurrency portfolio characteristics to generate a risk assessment for the collateral backing a potential loan. It does not evaluate a consumer’s creditworthiness, payment history, or other traditional credit factors.

The credit union retains full authority over all lending decisions. The DACS score is one input among many that an institution may consider, and the institution is solely responsible for its lending criteria and decisions.

5. Cryptocurrency Risk

Cryptocurrency and digital assets involve significant risk, including but not limited to:

  • Extreme volatility — Cryptocurrency values can fluctuate dramatically in short periods. Collateral values may decline rapidly and substantially.
  • Total loss risk — The value of cryptocurrency collateral may decline to zero.
  • Liquidation risk — If collateral values decline below required thresholds, collateral may be liquidated to protect the lending institution.
  • Regulatory risk — The regulatory environment for cryptocurrency is evolving and uncertain. Future regulations may materially impact the viability of crypto-collateralized lending.
  • Technology risk — Blockchain networks, smart contracts, and custody solutions are subject to technical vulnerabilities, outages, and failures.

6. Forward-Looking Statements
